Before being admitted to the Future For Kids- Muhisimbi sewing Centre Kinigi the life and self-esteem of these mothers was miserable – not even being able to meet the most essential needs for their babies. Being a single mother in Rwanda has dramatic consequences, they are expelled from their family, as they have put shame on them having become pregnant through abuse and seduction. Future For Kids- Muhisimbi sewing Centre Kinigi is empowering these mothers, providing coaching and vocational training to enable them to sustain themselves in the future. Being in a group of others with the same fate and taken care of by our staff and social worker, they improve their self-view as a mother and a part of the society. Several needs have to be covered now. A budget for taking care of 45 small children, including paying staff like the childcare professionals, hygiene materials, playthings, facility management and so on. Interested?
